Members of the Lions Gate Hospital laboratory staff sent this photo to the North Shore News asking us to share it to convey their thanks for the support they have received from the community.
For the past week a nightly 7 p.m. cheer has gone up across the community to show appreciation from the work being done by front-line health-care workers in the COVID-19 crisis.
In recent days the cheer has included a bagpiper as well as a parade of fire trucks, police cars and ambulances with lights flashing and sirens blaring. You can join the cheer tonight, from a safe distance from your neighbour of course, and know that your support is reaching those on the front lines who are leading the fight.
