Drew Johnston, Thea Mazur, Simon Nebel, Finn Merrett, Isaak Nebel and Elias Nebel are just some of the young Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, part of the 11th Seymour District Scout Group, on hand for the annual Scouts Christmas Tree Fundraising Sale.
From now until Dec. 23, you can pick up your tree, choosing from five varietals, at the southeast corner of Parkgate Village Shopping Centre Monday through Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Prices start at $11 per foot.
Proceeds from the sale of trees are earmarked to support Scouts activities, including the purchasing of snow shoes for group events and raising money to attend the Norwegian National Jamboree, which will be held in in Indre Østfold in 2021.
