The following is a selection of volunteer opportunities from various community organizations, made available through Volunteer North Shore, a service of North Shore Community Resources Society.

Volunteer Grant Writer Provide assistance to the development department by researching and identifying grant opportunities, prepare grant applications and assist with other grant-related projects as needed.

Board of Directors Candidates should be residents of the North Shore and have a strong interest in or experience with assisting immigrants successfully integrate in the community. Very interested in finding a candidate with real estate or property development experience and candidates that reflect the diversity of the North Shore.

Volunteer Those who have an enthusiasm for bringing great art to public spaces, the Vancouver Biennale is always looking for passionate and eager volunteers with a range of skills. It is a great way to support the organization and get involved in the community, and a great opportunity to meet and work with some renowned international artists. Examples of volunteer positions include artist assistant, exhibition docent, office support, social media co-ordinator and more.

Volunteer Driver Provide transportation for seniors to enable them to get out of their homes and go grocery shopping, attend appointments or participate in social activities in the community.

Registration Desk Volunteer Volunteer needed to help with registration and administrative tasks (welcome participants, explain program to newcomers) at North Shore Neighbourhood House on a Monday morning.
