North Van RCMP hosts pop-up detachment

Head on down to Parkgate Plaza Village, between the Parkgate shopping centre and rec centre/library, to check out the North Vancouver RCMP’s pop-up detachment.

Until 5 p.m. today, visitors examine a unique display of various police resources, such as information on home security, personal safety, fraud, Block Watch, vehicle crimes and local volunteer opportunities.

And until 1:30 p.m., visitors will be able to meet and chat with RCMP Supt. Chris Kennedy, while officers from the youth, bikes and traffic units and North Vancouver District bylaw staff will be on hand for much of the day to answer questions as well.
