North Vancouver RCMP Const. Jasvir Dosanjh was honoured with the Terry Ryan Award for Excellence in Police Service on Sept. 23.
The award was established by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in memory of Const. Terry Ryan who was killed in an alcohol related collision. It is awarded annually to a police officer to recognize exemplary service in reducing the incidence of impaired driving.
From 2011 to 2014 Const. Dosanjh had the highest number of impaired investigations in B.C. madd.ca
