Crowd dips into New Year's Day during Penguin Plunge (VIDEO)

Brave souls shook off the remnants of New Year’s Eve revelry and celebrated the first day of 2019 by wading into the waters off Panorama Park in Deep Cove during the annual Penguin Plunge on Jan. 1.

Proceeds from the event were earmarked for Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
