Ashley Riehl (née Wren), 49, passed away in palliative care at Surrey Memorial Hospital on August 19, 2025, surrounded by her family and close friends. Those who knew Ashley will remember her kindness, generosity, and fearlessness. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Tevy (12), her parents, Harvey and Eileen Wren, her sister, Aeron (Mark and Mila), and her brother, Damon.
Ashley was born in Vancouver on October 1, 1975, and grew up near Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. Ashley approached each day with unwavering courage and grace, even in the face of a terminal, relentless disease. As we, her family, friends, and community, mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace.
