We share the quiet passing of our Dad, Graeme, on February 7th, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Graeme will always be remembered by his sons, Adam Guy and Cameron Allan, Linda Cottrell, his sister Dawn, and Graeme Simon, of Melbourne, his sister Joan Reynolds, of Melbourne and his brother Neville, of Thailand; as well as many family and friends at home and abroad.
Graeme began his working life in Melbourne as a butcher. That started his love of good food, cooking and entertaining friends and family. Later, together with close friend Gordon, he transitioned to carpentry and handyman work, including renovating his own home(s). After the birth of Adam in Melbourne, Graeme immigrated to Canada. Linda and Graeme made North Vancouver their home, where Cam was born. Graeme continued to work in home renovations until his retirement.
Graeme had a great sense of humour and enjoyed getting together with family and friends. When we were young, we kept Dad busy cheering us on in our extensive sporting endeavours. He enjoyed travel, was active playing tennis and golf, kayaking and hiking.
Friends are invited to share memories and celebrate Graeme at Northlands Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, August 6th at 11:45am.
