It is with a heavy heart that we share the sudden passing of our beautiful mother, Ann Helene Burnett. Ann grew up in North Vancouver and spent her childhood skipping Brownies in favour of boxcar racing down Larson and playing in Mosquito and McKay Creeks. She was the industrious and independent daughter of Burt and Helen Lindahl. Ann was also a model for Woodward’ s and other local organizations. At age 19, she bravely moved to Sweden and mastered the language. After returning to Vancouver, she worked for companies such as Laurentide and Labatt Brewing.
She later met David, the love of her life, with whom she would share 50 happy years of marriage. They moved to West Van and enjoyed sailing, gardening, and travelling together. David passed away in 2023; they are now back in each other’ s arms again.
Ann is survived by her loving daughters Kimberly and Alaina, as well as dear friends met along the way. A service will be held at a later date.
