With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Bill McConnell DDS — beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Bill is survived by his wife and best friend of 32 years, Liedy; children Paul (Janine), Jody (Ian), Kristina (Derek), Lee (Rick), and Jim (Jen); six grandchildren; sister Bonnie (George); niece Erin and nephew David (Katy).
Bill maintained a successful dental practice in North Vancouver before retiring in 2001. He and Liedy spent more than 20 joyful years as snowbirds in Palm Springs— travelling and embracing life together.
A man of many passions, Bill was an avid golfer, shooting an 83 just five weeks before his passing. He played goalie (Goat 1) for the North Shore Old Goats for nearly 20 years. Bill had a lifelong passion for flying and classic cars.
Bill's warmth, wisdom and deep love for his family will be missed beyond words. We love you forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
