The third annual Cruise the Shore weekend long fundraiser to benefit Lions Gate Hospital Foundation kicked off on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 24 with dozens of car enthusiasts meeting at the Tomahawk restaurant in Norgate for breakfast before embarking on a three-hour cruise across the North Shore in a wide variety of custom, vintage, collectible and hot-rod automobiles.
The cruise ended at the parking lot at Capilano University with Johnstone’s BBQ and Stong’s Market hosting a barbecue for all participants.
The fun and fundraising continued the next day at a show and shine in Edgemont Village, with raffle, awards and a 50-50 draw.
