A Prince George business is on the mend following a fire Wednesday night (Oct. 21).

Fire Rescue crews explain when they arrived at the Hart-area shop, the heat of a blaze caused a water line to burst and extinguish its own blaze.

Three halls sent 13 total firefighters when the report was called in around 6 p.m. at 5000-block, Hartway Drive.

When they arrived, light smoke was seen coming out of the shop's doors, which was unoccupied.

After crews got through, they found a fire that had been extinguished by a water line.

No injuries to personnel or residents were reported.

Prince George Fire Rescue did not provide an estimated damage cost or an initial cause to the incident.
