The Steveston Salmon Festival is back, and organizers need volunteers!
Every year, the festival takes place on July 1 with a day-long program featuring live music, exhibitions, demonstrations and hands-on activities.
Organizers are looking for festival volunteers ages 14 and up for the event.
Volunteers need to attend a mandatory, in-person volunteer orientation before they are assigned to a volunteer area.
Volunteer areas include:
- Kid's Zone
- Youth Zone
- Information Booth
- Art Show (Set-up/Take-down)
- Japanese Cultural Show (Set-up/Take-down)
- Bike Parade
- Chow Mein Preparations
- Parade
- Parking
- Tradeshow/Marketplace
- Salmon Bake
- Operations
