On the afternoon of Saturday July 9th, North Vancouvers McCartney Park was the setting for the 2011 BC Provincial Midget C Fastpitch tournament as the Gibson Crushers hosted the North Shore Avalanche in Round Robin play.

On Friday July 8th North Vancouvers McCartney Park was the setting for the 2011 BC Provincial Girls Midget C Fastpitch tournament opening ceremonies. A colour guard escorted the teams on to the field.

On the evening of Tuesday July 5th, North Vancouvers Chris Zeulke Field was the setting for 2011 North Shore Little League Majors round robin playoff action as West Vancouver hosted North Vancouver Central.

At North Vancouvers McCartney Park on the evening of Saturday July 9th the 2011 BC Provincial Girls Midget C Fastpitch tournament moved into the playoff round with the first place North Shore Avalanche taking on the eighth place Chilliwack Spitfires.

This past weekend in Whistler, Mt Seymours 11 Year Old All Star team became Champions of the Whistler Invitational Tournament for the 2nd year in a row.
