North Shore teams ready to clash for New Zealand Shield

Collingwood will face Rockridge in AA while Carson battles St. George's in AAA

Three North Shore teams will be fighting for New Zealand Shield Lower Mainland rugby titles tomorrow at Stanley Park’s Brockton Oval.

At the AA level longtime West Vancouver rivals Collingwood and Rockridge will meet again starting at 3:15 p.m. Top-ranked Collingwood defeated Byrne Creek 55-0 in the semifinals while Rockridge booked a spot in the final with a 43-3 win over Charles Tupper.

At the AAA level the Carson Graham Eagles will take on St. George’s in the Lower Mainland final starting at 4:30 p.m. Carson topped West Vancouver 41-13 in their semifinal while St. George’s defeated Handsworth 32-5.
