Dear Editor:
On Friday afternoon (Oct. 5) while leaving an underground parkade in Lower Lonsdale I absentmindedly left a package of papers, some loose and some in a plastic envelope, on the trunk of my car. At my next stop when it dawned on me what I had done I returned to hopefully retrieve them. I found the loose papers scattered around but the envelope was nowhere to be found.
All were important to me but losing the envelope was most disappointing.
A few hours later there was a knock at my door and now you know the rest of the story. It is acts of kindness and consideration like this, one that went above and beyond, that reminded me that there are still a few among us who will go out of their way to be helpful and do a good deed.
