Dear Editor:

Re: Businesses Bristle at B-Line Plan, Dec. 7 front-page story.

The majority of North Shore passengers, especially Horseshoe Bay (ferries) foot passengers require this service.

West Vancouver can promote their self-serving interest. However, the times are changing and the TransLink online survey period has passed. You could not text the bus stop number asking when the next bus would be coming without getting a wordy invite to join in the survey.

The West Van buses don’t have to pick up city passengers. The already over-crowded North Van buses must.
Squamish Nation residents were not consulted by the (transit officials) who negotiated that the West Van “Not In Service” buses may zoom through the lower road.

The SeaBus underserves the City of North Vancouver by only running two SeaBuses at a time.

It is not progressive to promote continued elite service for the small minority. West Vancouver’s position is not in the best interest and ignores North Shore gridlock.
