Dear Editor:

Re: Wooden toymaker Bill Chalmers, featured on the cover of Nov. 23 Holiday Traditions keepsake Christmas edition.

Very nice feature on a real gentleman and former patient in my dental practice in West Van. I still have a  piece of his beautiful work that he gave me one Christmas in years past and I always think of Bill when I look at it.

Please pass on my best wishes to him. He has made a real difference in the lives of so many children in our community through his toy donations to North Shore Christmas Bureau these past 25 years.

Bravo, Bill.
