Had to chuckle a couple of weeks ago. Well, shake my head, really.
Wanted to come to Deep Cove, but with a couple of events on and Quarry Rock being what it is along with the corresponding traffic, we chose instead to find alternate transport so as not to add to the problem.
So we put our 12-foot dinghy in the water and came in that way.
When I got to the dock, I paid $4 to park it while we went up, enjoyed lunch at one of the local restaurants and wandered the shops. Then it hit me – car parking is free, and I’d just paid $4 to tie a single bow line to the dock for an hour.
