Dear Editor:
There have been numerous articles about the proposed B-Line. I haven’t seen any comments about streetcars.
Why isn’t TransLink proposing this? Electric streetcars have numerous advantages: they’re quieter, don’t pollute, and can be driven from both ends. The track could change lanes and directions right at Park Royal. I’m sure they cost a bit more initially but aren’t we one of the richest areas of Canada?
