INQUIRING REPORTER: What's the coldest place you've ever been?

It’s been a stellar week for meteorologist-speak, with awesome terms such as “Arctic air,” “outflow wind” and “temperature inversion” all being accurate descriptors of the chilly winds and frigid temperatures we’ve been subjected to.

On Wednesday, a windstorm caused power outages across the North Shore, and experts warn of freezing temperatures starting tonight, with the possibility of snowflakes in our forecast.
