INQUIRING REPORTER: Were you Team Otter or Team Koi?

You knew this one was coming.

Much to the delight of media everywhere — and the chagrin of those who cared about the koi inhabiting a pond at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Vancouver — an otter has been making busy work eating up to 10 of valuable koi fish since it was first reported early last week.

Local media is now reporting that the last of the koi have been evacuated from the pond, saved from the otter’s onslaught. All the while, a schism emerged between the Team Otter and Team Koi camps. Where did you stand?
