Imagine hopping on a SkyTrain at the Quay and departing the North Shore for a traffic-free commute. Is it possible? Well, maybe.
The province announced this week it will be going forward with the first-ever study examining the feasibility of a rapid transit line that would connect the North Shore to downtown.
This would be no easy task, as a tunnel or bridge linking the Quay to Waterfront Station crosses the deepest and widest part of the inlet.
