This week, the average price of gas across Metro Vancouver reached $1.73 per litre, with some stations charging as high as $1.79 per litre.

According to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Vancouverites pay the highest price at the pumps in the country. As the cost of gas continues to break all-time price records, many drivers have been left fuming, perhaps opting to take public transit instead, if possible.
