Is the city managing growth appropriately? Yes, the City is a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community. However we need more focus on providing transportation and housing options as well as amenities that enhance quality of life including parks and public spaces. The City must also support local business by renewing the Economic Development Plan.
Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? I want the facts. It is unlikely amalgamation would benefit City residents given the low costs of serving our compact city and our financial reserves.
Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? Absolutely. The City must provide housing options including the non-market housing, 10-10-forever program, housing cooperatives, and co-housing to name a few.
