What are your priorities if elected? Improving infrastructure for the influx of people. More funding for local farms to create more food security on the north shore. Improved public transportation.
Is the city managing growth appropriately? Not currently, there have been more than enough developments approved in the area before asking how many people can the city sustain. Local businesses aren't able to staff accordingly because none of their workers can afford to live in the neighborhood.
Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? No, there's going to be so many people having the borders stay as is will make decision making less complicated.
Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? Absolutely! Having rent control on older buildings, and putting affordable housing in the bottom floors of high rises will also give better accessibility to tenants.
