Dare to be Heard, presented by the North Shore Writers Association, meets the first Wednesday of every month, 7-9 p.m. at Mollie Nye House, 940 Lynn Valley Rd., North Vancouver. The association invites writers of all genres, fiction and non-fiction, to read their work in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and to listen to other writers share their work and talk about the writing process.
