Six Lonsdale Quay bus loop stops are being moved to Carrie Cates Court beginning May 21 in order to facilitate construction on the east side of the terminal.

Riders catching the 228 to Lynn Valley, 231 Harbourside, 246 Highland, N24 Lynn Valley and the N24 Downtown will now board on the north side of Carrie Cates near Rogers Avenue. A bus stop is also being relocated on the south side of the street for passengers taking the 236 to Grouse Mountain.

The new stops are set to be in place for the next five months, after which they will be re-relocated, according to TransLink.

The 230 Upper Lonsdale, 242 and 229 to Lynn Valley, the 239 to Park Royal and to Capilano University and the 242 to Vancouver will continue to operate on the west side of the loop.

The relocation is needed to accommodate an approximately $10.5-million renovation set to conclude in early 2020.
