A North Vancouver man who hasn’t been seen in almost a month may have travelled over land into the United States, police say.

On Tuesday, Chilliwack RCMP put out a request for the public’s help in finding Timothy Marc Delahaye, 29. He was last seen on April 29 by a friend at Cultus Lake near the Canada/U.S. border.

“RCMP investigators believe Mr. Delahaye may have travelled in the backcountry from British Columbia into Washington State and are asking the public to remain watchful for him,” a release from the RCMP’s Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment stated. “Police and family are concerned for Timothy’s well-being.”

Delahaye is described as a white male, standing six-foot-four (193 centimetres). He has a slim build with reddish-brown hair and blue-green eyes, according to police. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, turquoise shirt and green pants.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Delahaye is urged to contact their local police agency or, should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
