District of North Vancouver firefighters may have performed their least harrowing rescue of the summer this afternoon.
After receiving a report of an emergency at 30 Foot Pool in Lynn Canyon, firefighters scrambled to the scene and came face to face with an elderly gentlemen who had sustained: “a little bump on his head,” according to District of North Vancouver assistant fire chief Walt Warner.
“I think he just slipped and fell,” Warner offered.
The man was sitting on a rock near the water when first responders arrived and performed a medical assessment.
“It was just basically a knock on the noggin,” Warner said.
The man walked out under his own power.
