Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas?

Probably, since most Vancouverites don't start seriously preparing for the holiday until the beginning of December.

Nevertheless, V.I.A has secured the details for Vancouver's 2022 Christmas Tree lighting.

The City of Vancouver has confirmed that Amacon crews will start loading in the approximately 80-foot tall tree on Nov. 26. Construction is expected to take just under a week and conclude on Dec. 1.

The free, family-friendly Christmas Tree lighting event will take place on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. Expect more details to come soon about this popular annual community event.

Amacon doesn't waste any time after the holidays are over; tear-down takes place from January 2 to 6, 2023.
