This $16.9M Vancouver mansion has everything: an Italian-themed indoor pool, a grotto, and eccentric sculptures (PHOTOS+VIDEO)

It looks like it's straight out of Orange County

If you asked a child what a mansion looked like, this might be the answer.

While it may look like a movie set, it's a real 7-bedroom, 10-bathroom Shaughnessy house built in 2019. From chandeliers and marble everywhere to statues at every turn, there's lots to take in at 1487 Minto Cres.

Perhaps the most eye-catching room is the Italian-themed indoor pool. It is full of things to look at, with water falling from fountains on the floor above, to a painting of Venice on one end, to fake palm trees, to a the 'sky' above.

Outside, there's also a grotto-style pool, complete with a large, rocky back, bird sculptures and a concrete seating area.

Speaking of sculptures, one could probably spend the day playing Where's Waldo or a truly epic game of 'I Spy'. Did you spot the zebra? Or the children at the well? What about the little waiter with a chalkboard?

Let's not forget about the theatre, bar, elevator,  and gym. While not quite as flashy as the other spots, they're still highlights. Especially the theatre, which looks like a mixture of 1940s cinema and modern luxury.
