You will want to keep your umbrella handy this week in Vancouver.

The city is living up to its "Raincouver" moniker this week as the forecast calls for rain every day.

Starting Wednesday (Oct. 20), Environment Canada calls for periods of rain during the day and showers overnight. There will also be winds up to 30 km/h gusting up to 50 km/h during the day. On Thursday, however, the forecast calls for rain and wind all day.

Heading into the weekend, Friday is expected to feature periods of rain during the day and again at night. Saturday's forecast also includes rain throughout the day, while Sunday is expected to have showers during the day and rain at night.

Monday and Tuesday are currently looking wet, too.
