Food truck fest rolls into Coquitlam for Mother's Day weekend

Coquitlam is the second community block party this spring for the Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival.

You can join a community party — and be well-fed — in Coquitlam during the Mother's Day weekend.

The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival returns to the city on May 7 and 8, with more than 20 vendors serving up meals and treats at Town Centre Park (1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam).

The food trucks include:

  • G’s Donairs
  • Wings
  • Fusion Icy
  • Crema Ice Cream
  • Reel Mac and Cheese
  • Aloha Poke
  • Betty’s Greek Honey Ballz
  • Kyu Grill
  • B&B Diner
  • All About Grill
  • Brownie Bakers

Entry is free to the festival and there will be entertainment, as well as local market sellers courtesy of BC Shop Local.

It runs

  • May 7: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • May 8 (Mother's Day): 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Coquitlam is the second community block party for the festival crew this spring: The series is also at Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre (5300 No. 3 Rd.) on April 29 and 30, and May 1, while on June 4 and 5, it rolls into the Chilliwack Coliseum (45323 Hodgins Ave.) on June 4 and 5.
