Track of the Day: Jay Som - “The Bus Song,” off debut album, Everybody Works, on Polyvinyl Records. Video filmed in San Francisco and Oakland by Japanese Breakfast. Both artists, Melina Duterte (Jay Som) and Michelle Zauner (Japanese Breakfast), perform at The Biltmore on Friday, Feb. 16.
This month, Jay Som has also released a 7” of two tracks, “Pirouette” and “O.K., Meet Me Underwater,” that didn’t make it on to Everybody Works, plus a Valentine’s song for Amazon, "Hot Bread.”
