We’ve long been fans of Tata Harper’s natural, organic line of skincare products (and drooled over the Colombian founder’s out-of-this-world glowing skin).
But on an especially frazzled Friday we took our love of Tata up a notch with an afternoon of pampering at Beauty Mark and Collective Skin Care's Tata Harper Supernatural Center, the only place in the city where you can get a facial and pedicure using products from the cult-loved brand. Our 75-minute purifying detox facial ($150), touted as a “Juice Cleanse” for the skin, left our visage refreshed, taught and practically poreless. Knowing the products used in the treatment were organic, cruelty-free and made using natural (and some strongly fragrant) ingredients, like Spanish lavender, sourced from Tata’s farm in Vermont, made the experience even better. A 70-minute pedicure at the adjacent Varnish Nail Lounge using Tata Harper's Smoothing Body Scrub (with Pink Himalayan sea salts) and a swipe of 7-free Butter London polish, and it was "Ta ta for now," because we'll definitely be back. — Lise Boullard
