This conference has been cancelled, according to organizers, due to COVID-10.

The two-day conference for creatives and entrepreneurs is back with a powerhouse of speakers.

At the Cheakamus Centre on March 19 and 20, Squamish Nation elected council member and spokesman Khelsilem — who is also the programming director for a Coast Salish arts and education non-profit among other newsworthy endeavours — will be among the 25 speakers.

It's the third year for the annual conference in Squamish.

"We are honoured to host such an inspiring lineup of thought leaders, culture shifters and business innovators doing great work in our community," co-founder Rachel Boguski said in a press release. "Our goal is for every one of our guests to leave with a renewed energy, focus and insight to carry them forward both personally and professionally."

Speakers include Tima Kurdi — author of the memoir The Boy in the Beach about her nephew's death and the Syrian refugee crisis — who has launched a foundation for children affected by war.

Also presenting are TV personality Tamara Taggart, who will give a keynote speech on resiliency, world-renowned fashion designer John Fluevog, and activist for social justice Cicely Blain. Talks will touch on safe spaces, hard conversations and boundary setting, as well as business advice. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the speakers between sessions.

"Unlike traditional conferences, Re/Form combines learning and wellness, and offers a holistic approach to leadership development," Re/Form co-founder Shannon Lorenz said.
