The district is hosting another similar volunteer event, the Free the Tree Ivy Pull, in Deep Cove’s Wickenden Park on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the trail entrance on Lockehaven Road, just north of Raeburn Street. Visit dnv.org/events for more information.
