Kudos: Richmond's Rona donates to the food bank

Rona has donated $10,000 to the Richmond Food Bank.

Doug Swift and Mack Foster of Rona in Richmond (Mack Foster Building Materials Ltd.) have seen the Richmond community come together to support local businesses, including theirs, so they were more than happy to step up.

They are paying it forward by supporting the food bank, which serves more than 2,000 people in need per week.

Monetary donations are especially helpful for food banks and other charities right now, since pandemic protocols can make it more challenging than usual to process in-kind donations, such as donated foods that require person-power to sort and organize.
