An extreme case of road rage has led to an arrest, RCMP say.

Donald Jame Chromick, 54, is alleged to have pulled out a gun and threatened another driver with it during an argument Wednesday evening in the 6700 block of Highway 97 North.

With the help of a dog and handler, RCMP located Chromick after receiving a report.

Chromick, who is known to police, has been charged with possessing a weapon, resisting arrest, careless use of a firearm and careless storage.

Chromick was released from custody following a bail hearing Thursday.
