Today, Tedeschi Trucks Band releases Signs, their first new album in three years, on Fantasy/Concord.
The first single off the album “Hard Case,” written by Mike Mattison, Sean Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, harkens back to the Soul Shake days of Delaney & Bonnie.
To celebrate the release of the album the band kicks off a new tour tonight at D.C.’s Warner Theater. They will play the Paramount Theater in Seattle on May 23 and 24.
Tedeschi Trucks Band are also currently working on a Joe Cocker Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tribute book with photographer Linda Wolf.
