This year the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival has four awards and initiatives categories with deadlines coming up fast: Submissions for the Tim Jones Community Achievement Award, co-presented with North Shore Rescue, must be received by Jan. 20; submissions for the Arc’teryx Film and MEC Adventure grants must be in by Jan. 15 and entries into the VIMFF Photo Competition must be received by Feb. 3. The 22nd Annual VIMFF takes place Feb. 22 to March 2. For more information and to make submissions visit vimff.org/initiatives.
