Capilano University geography prof Jeanne Mikita presents a lecture tonight at North Vancouver City Library on the role of women in the development of community around the Kettle Valley Railway in the B.C. interior. Mikita has taught a wide variety of courses in her 22 years at CapU and she has currently turned her attention to the movements and place-making activities of the people who worked on B.C.’s historic Kettle Valley Railway.
