Deep Cove Kayak owner Erian Baxter has designed some sentimental pendants in honour of her friend, former Spirit of the West frontman John Mann, who is currently battling early onset Alzheimer’s.
The personalized silver pendants are hand stamped with sayings including Appreciate and Celebrate, as well as the title of Spirit of the West’s iconic song “Home for a Rest.”
When the band performed their last concert Baxter made Mann and his mates these pendants, to commemorate and always remember their indelible mark on the Canadian music scene.
For her recent fundraiser, Spirit of Canada, Baxter has fashioned 100 more pendants, with proceeds donated to Mann’s continuing medical care.
