This photo of the Lynn Valley General Store was taken circa 1908, when Lynn Valley was still mainly trees and stumps.
The store was located on Lynn Valley Road at Centre Road (now Mountain Highway).
The sign in the window near the entrance says, “stumping powder sold here” and the window display features saws and axe heads.
