Five incredibly charming North Shore dogs and a few of their human friends have teamed up to produce a unique video showing the joys of adopting rescued canines.

In the video the viewer is given a taste of the inner monologues of the five pooches – Izzy, Rosie, Duke, Rodney and Axel – as they hit the North Shore’s famous mountain bike trails with their owners. Four of the five dogs are adopted rescue animals themselves, while the fifth was just too cute to omit.

The amusing animal chatter is enhanced by some fantastic shots of the trail dogs zipping through some tricky mountain bike features with varying levels of success and enthusiasm. The mountain bike action is followed by backstories for each of the dogs describing how they were rescued and united with their North Shore humans.

The video, titled Trail Floof, was made by Pilchard Productions in collaboration with North Vancouver’s First Mate Pet Food.
