Pop-up performance

Jenny Morgan , composer, singer, songwriter, and co-creator of the original song “Hope in Every Handshake,” performed the song with her “pop-up choir” at a flash mob event at Capilano Mall on Oct. 24.  

The event was spearheaded by Peter Bardon, founder of Compassion Globally, a registered charitable society with a mission to help Canada and the world advocate for the safety of women and girls and reduce abuse and sexual violence through peaceful awareness campaigns.

Thirteen choirs sang the song “Compassion Globally” followed by “Hope in Every Handshake” simultaneously at 10:15 a.m. at surprise locations across Canada.
