One To One is a unique literacy program for children that provides one-to-one tutoring to children in elementary schools during regular school hours. Trained volunteer tutors work with students who are identified by their teachers as needing a boost in their literacy skills. The work is fun and very rewarding. Volunteer tutors get to build a relationship with their students and help them bloom. For students, these are invaluable opportunities to practice reading and writing in an environment where it is OK to take risks, make mistakes and learn at their own pace. Many of the students would not receive extra help without the assistance of One To One tutors.

Help customers and ring through sales in the Gallery Shop, which sells work by more than 60 local artists; monitor the gallery and record visitor numbers, provide friendly customer service and information to the public.
