Income Tax Volunteers Seeking patient and friendly volunteers looking to expand their experience in completing income tax returns in March and April.
Addictions Recovery House Volunteer Looking for female volunteers to help out with some weekend shifts in a residential addictions recovery house. The volunteer is responsible to be there in case of an emergency, to observe the residents and report any concerns. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the field of mental health and addictions and/or for someone who wishes to give back and provide support to women in recovery.
VASS Cup Volunteer Volunteer to sign up for the VASS Cup which takes place March 9 on Grouse Mountain. Join a team for a casual ski/snowboard race or start your own team with family and friends, try out sledge hockey, bid on silent auction items and enjoy all the festivities in support of skiers and snowboarders with disabilities.
Big Brother Big Brothers are men over the age of 18 who provide fun and friendship for boys, ages seven-12 who have limited to no contact with their fathers. Big and Little Brothers do a wide variety of no-cost/low-cost activities of their choice for two-four hours a week for one year.
Seniors Peer Support Volunteer Looking for caring volunteers to provide an emotional support for seniors, also to guide them through changes and challenges. Possible previous experience in people-related services.
