North Van Save-on-Foods employees shed locks for coworker

Longtime Save-on-Foods employee Jodie Prentice, who is battling leukemia, was on hand at Pemberton Plaza Saturday for a mass head shave.

The Lions Gate Hospital Foundation fundraiser saw 18 of Prentice's fellow staff members lose their locks for charity, including store manager Robert Epp and assistant manager Rabin Abuo-Khazaal.

LGH Foundation vice-president Louise Campbell and volunteer Mehri Parsi were also on hand during the event, along with stylists from nearby Discovery Spa and Salon.
